We welcome you to the Jefferson Elementary School's Web Page. Our school family includes fifty-seven certified and non-certified dedicated staff and 357 special children in Pre-School through Grade three.

Our Jefferson School Beliefs direct the focus of our educational environment. Instruction at Jefferson School focuses on the core curricula areas (language arts, math, science/health, and social studies), as well as, physical education, art, and music. Emphasis is placed on early intervention for students. We pride ourselves in developing well-rounded students that not only have the academic skills to be successful, but know how to maintain a healthy body and lifestyle. Jefferson School was a recipient of the Healthier US School Gold Award in 2009.

We have an active PTO sponsored "Volunteer program of parents, community members, grandparents and retired teachers that assist in our classrooms.
