📚 Spelling Bee Success! 🐝 On Tuesday, January 14, Valley City Junior High held its school spelling bee. All junior high students participated in a 15-question preliminary round through their English classes, and the top scorers advanced to the school bee. 🎉 Congratulations to our four finalists: ⭐ Garet Goven ⭐ Cassandra Hansen ⭐ Hayley Sather ⭐ John Oakland The top two places went to: 🥇 John Oakland 🥈 Cassandra Hansen John and Cassandra will now advance to the County Spelling Bee, which will take place in the HAC Lobby on February 3, 2025, at 1 PM. Way to go, spellers! 👏✨ Good luck at the next level!

🎉 Shout-Out to Our Amazing Hi-Liners! 🎉 Today, 108 VCHS students and 4 staff members volunteered at the Feed My Starving Children Event in Fargo, ND. Together, they assembled an incredible 144 boxes containing 31,104 meals to help children around the world. 🌍🍴 This is the second year our students and staff have participated in this impactful event, proudly representing our school and community with compassion and dedication. Let’s give these outstanding volunteers a much-deserved shout-out! 🙌👏 Way to go, Hi-Liners!
